We went to Bear Lake this last weekend for the Muhlestein Family reunion. It was so much fun! We left work early and headed up there with a stop at the Logan Taco Time.... and we can never eat there again....never.... We got there and had set the tent up and were unloading the car when we realized that Scott had grabbed the pillows, but not the blankets and sleeping bag under them. The first night was freezing to say the least. Luckily Scott's brother had an extra sleeping bag and we found a nice air mattress in town the next day. The campground that we were staying at was right at the beach and was so pretty. It was fun to play in the sand and the water felt really nice. We built this lovely sand castle and somewhere there is a picture of Scott buried in the sand, I'll have to find that one. We also have a video of Scott pushing me in the water. Evil Man. We of course went and had a raspberry shake, after all Bear Lake is famous for them. There is a little drive-in dive called Dan's in Montpelier ID that we went to for lunch. It's a great place that serves english chips. YUMMY!! In the Penrod family we always stop there on our way up to Afton WY. We also found this cute little local grocery store that looks like it was transplanted from NYC. The store also cuts it's own meat so we grabbed some steaks for dinner. Way good!! We slept a lot better on Saturday night and then Sunday morning we got up bright and early and headed home. Now that we are all unpacked and then packed up again we are off to wonderful NYC!!
