Updating

So there has been a few things that have happened in the past weeks that I have said to myself, "Self we need to post that, it would be funny." I of course haven't so here's a mass blog with it all crammed in. Oh, I forgot to bring my flash drive in with the pictures that go along with all of this so I'll add those later.

1) For Valentine's day we have decided that we are starting a new tradition, our presents to each other have to be homemade and under $10. It's so much fun! Heidi and I got together and made giant red rice krispie kisses for our hubbies. For the little paper strip we wrote up really cute love notes. I really had fun doing this and I'm thinking that we are going do them again for Christmas neighbor gifts with a cute little saying. A word to the wise though, wrap the kisses in wax paper then foil. We didn't think of that before and the guys had fun pulling the foil off them.

2) We are going to have to decorate our walls in red. This is the second time in this house that Scott has 'painted' the walls with salsa. How I have no clue, I know that I tightened the cap (I always double check after the first time) and yet it happened again. It must be his super hero power, with a touch of his finger the jar lids come unscrewed.

3) We are starting in new thing with the Penrod side. The first Saturday of each month we are going to the temple. As many of us that could went this last weekend and it was so much fun! I loved being in the celestial room with my family. Besides this way we really go. Scott and I are finding that we plan on going but something comes up and we push it back, this way other people are going so we have to go, no pushing it back.

4) I am starting my own business! I'm really nervous about this, but hopefully it earns us enough money that we have some to spend in Hawaii this October. So if any of you need some cute gifts, think of me. Oh, I'm making cards. I'm going to sell them at a booth during Peach Days. But I am planning on making these box set ones that would make a good thank you, visiting teaching, neighbor, birthday etc present. So tuck that back in old noggin. I also do custom orders.....

Yay for you starting your own business! I can't wait to see your cards! I can always use some! That's a great idea to make your own gifts, too. You guys are so fun.

You are too cute! I can understand with Scott on getting salsa everywhere. That's funny though! I hope your new business goes good. And YEAH for Hawaii!!
